April is Canine Fitness Month. With the weather breaking and spring upon us, head outside and take your pup with you! This one-on-one physical activity is a great bonding experience for you and your pup. Mixing regular exercise and a balanced diet, is one of the best things you can do for your legged friend.
Here are some way you can keep your pet pawsitively active this month:
- Get out and go on a walk! Regular walking will help you and your pet, the fresh air and exercise will help keep your pet active and improve their mood.
- Play games! Fetch is a great activity to keep your pet from lounging inside all day. Grab a ball, Frisbee or stick and head to a safe location outside.
- Make snack time fun! Play hide and seek with their treats, placing them in fun hiding spots makes treat time a rewarding activity.
Although pet fitness is important every month, this April make a point to get out and get moving with your pet!
